Preparation and Tips:

Since many of these treks are at high altitudes, it is essential to spend a few days acclimatizing in Cusco before starting any trek.

It is recommended to spend at least two days in Cusco to allow your body to gradually adapt to the altitude. Drink plenty of water and avoid excessive alcohol and caffeine consumption during the first few days at altitude.
